Reality shows are always in, I’m a fan and one of my favorites are America’s Got Talent and of course Project Runway. The good thing about reality shows is they’re really spices of life and you can feel the drama by putting yourself in their shoes. To me, I’m not just amazed by the brilliant designers’ ideas on how they come up with their own creations from a given set of materials not to mention time limit and how they turn negative feedbacks into something positive in every judgment hour. It’s also the show to watch if you’re looking for fashion tips. It is here where I learned that in making a dress, it’s not just fashion that you have to consider but comfort, elegance, style has to come in a complete package. Not to mention Heidi Klum as an epitome of fashion itself. I’m more than happy to know that the runway is back.

A scarf is not just a celebrity fashion but it was created to serve its main purpose as a neck warmer for the chilly weather just like what’s shown in most of the Harry Potter’s movies and in some culture as a modest dress like in Muslim and Judaism. When I was young we also used head scarves while going to the church.
Just this afternoon during our meeting, I complimented an officemate for her nice wine scarf. She then told me that on her way, she also came across the street with a lady in sleeveless top and also wearing a checkered brown and beige scarf. My instant reaction was,” Oh, a Burberry scarf!” The famous antihero in Gossip Girl, Chuck Bass has penchant for them and The Girl in the Green Scarf earned her fame in Confession of a Shopaholic. See, I’m one of those who adore scarves and use them to enhance outfit.
One of the social decorum is wearing appropriate outfit for any occasions. Being overdressed can be preferable but there is always exception to the rule. Here are some clothing dos and don’ts. When clothes don’t seem to fit us anymore discard them or if you’re an advocate of goodwill, donate them. If you’re shopping for clothes always check if they are comfortable and you don’t get any bulges.
Don’t go for second hand clothes and thrift stores to find style and comfort. If you think you’re a little bit heavy, let go of skinny jeans. Also, don’t buy too small clothes and do the diet later or vice versa. It’s never a no-no to follow the trend but don’t always go for it for good investment. Lastly, if you’re not sure of which style would suit you well, tag someone for fashion advice. Remember, money doesn’t just grow on trees so better be clothed smart.
